I am an "Area Coordinator" for the
Radio Amateur Satellite Corporation (AMSAT).
As such, I conduct presentations and demonstrations to local hams
about the satellite service.
I serve as a resource for those wishing to lean how to become active
on the birds!

My Equipment:
I often use a Kenwood
TH-D7 handheld radio and a Arrow handheld antenna (see photo above).
That's all you need for many of the satellites!
My base station consists of a Yaesu FT-847 with Gulf Alpha mast mounted crossed yagis
